The Montessori Early Learning Center & School for the Arts is an A.M.I. accredited Montessori School located in Columbia, SC.
We believe that every child is precious and unique with unlimited artistic, spiritual and academic potential. We believe that if given a safe and prepared environment, every child can become self-motivated and self-disciplined. We believe in the principals and methods of Dr. Maria Montessori who believed that the greatness of human personality begins at birth.
Entry age into the school is between 30 and 40 months. Children older than 3 1/2 are not eligible for admission unless transferring from another accredited Monessori school or elementary gifted program
M.E.L.C. Elementary School:
Grade levels available : 1st through 6th
School hours: 8:30 to 3:00 Extended day : 7:30 to 5:30
