How long have you been in business?
Word Systems began business in 1984 under present ownership. We are a South Carolina Corporation.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a third party maintenance profider for a wide varity of computers, servers and printers. We have recently become a dealer for a complete line of top quality Factory Remanufactured Toner for all makes of printers and plotters.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Michael Kinsella, an X-IBM salesperson, plus 20 years in computer sales and service in Minneapolis, secured ownership in an existing Word Processing sales organization with offices in Charleston, Greenville and Columbia.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
All of our technicians are "certified" and "senior", each with over 20 years field experience. Several technicians have been with the firm for over 15 years, one for over 20 years.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have offices in Greenville, Anderson, Charleston and our Corporate office is in Columbia. We have no plans to expand beyond South Carolina at this time.

Our normal hours are 8:00 to 5:00. We have made special arrangements with several large customers to be available 24/7!
