What is your primary product or service?
Anything that you want your logo on; magnets (refrigerator and car), pens, pencils, hand fans, matches, apparel, or anthing you can imagine. Look at the cup and pen(s) on your desk...what's on it? Most likely, a logo!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have a BA in Journalism from USC. Graduated in 1977 in Photojournalism (not VIDEO, but camera. I HATE when the TV people refer to themselves as photojounalists...they are videographers). Anyway, after seeing all the magnets on USC cars (and refrigerators) on football games, and getting downsized (once again) in the medical industry (21 years selling upscale surgical widgets) I made a blind leap. It worked.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I take personal pride in verything that leaves me. As if I was using it myself. I will not promote anything that I feel is inferior. Whether it's one piece or 10,000 it all gets the same attention. USually, it's ahead of schedule and the due date. I've learned how to do all my own embroidery, artwork, etc.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location. No expansion.
